Success

It is not measured in the gold we hold,
Or titles carved in stone for all to see,
But in the quiet stories left untold
Of how we set a weary spirit free.

Success is found within a steady hand
Extended to a neighbour in the rain,
A bridge of empathy across the land
That helps to soften someone else’s pain.

It is the depth of laughter shared with friends,
The way a home is warmed by honest care,
The love that flourishes and never ends,
Grown from the gentle seeds we choose to share.

It is the life that blossoms by design
To lift the fallen, heal the broken heart;
When we allow our inner light to shine
By playing well our small and humble part.

To leave the world a little kinder place,
To carry grace where shadows used to be,
Success is written on a comforted face,
And all the hearts we’ve helped to set us free.
